Does God speak? Does God speak to you?

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us”

John 1:14 ESV

God is speaking, are you listening?

• Seek First

“The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.”

2 Chronicles 15:2b

• God Isn’t Looking For Sacrifice, He is Looking For Obedience 

“And Samuel said, “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice”

1 Samuel 15:22 ESV

“Well, I am always at the prayer meeting; I am constantly at communion, and I give so much of my substance to the support of the Lord’s work.” I am glad that you do these things; but oh! • When You Don’t Hear, Remember

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
    Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?

O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer,
    and by night, but I find no rest.

    they trusted, and you delivered them.
