Matt Destry’s message, Moving At The Speed Of Love is the first in our 2020 Easter Series, The Cross & The Crown. Looking at the death and resurrection of Lazarus we see that Jesus did not immediately prepare to visit upon hearing of his friend’s illness. He waited until Lazarus died. What seemed a heartless delay turned out to be the perfect demonstration of how God’s timing is not our own. God’s timing is often inconvenient to us, we want things to happen quickly. But God moves at the speed of love. It’s not convenient but it’s always loving. Always kind, always merciful. The resurrection of Lazarus resulted in great joy and demonstrated the power and glory of God.
