Matt and Jody Destry
Senior Pastors
Matt and Jody are leaders who love helping people find family, healing and purpose in life and in the Kingdom of God. Called by God to live vulnerably and open-heartedly, they love to share and communicate stories of change and transformation that inspire faith and action.
Matt is a communicator, an artist, and a storyteller with a passion to express both the beauty and pain found inside Jesus’ story. Jody is a mentor, coach and a speaker who loves to bring faith in Jesus to real, every day, practical application.
Matt and Jody have been married for 21 years and are passionate about helping others cultivate thriving marriages and families. They call the beautiful Yarra Valley home where they live with their 2 teenagers, Lucy and Finn.
Beck Lambert
Executive PastorWorking closely with Matt & Jody, Beck’s purview includes oversight of the various ministry expressions, financial processes, policy direction and implementation, and administrative processes across Discovery Church. Beck has long held a passion for bringing her skills and background in accounting to serve alongside her love for the church community. She also leads a lifegroup alongside her husband, Tim, and they have 3 kids who also call Discovery home; Jeremiah, Elijah & Caitlin.

Arts
The Arts Dept at Discovery Church encompasses music, sound, lighting, production, video, art, design, backdrops, social media, online and all things digital. Our heart is to see people find a space to work out their God given creativity in the arts within a community to spur one another on to greater things.
We exist to help others see the story God is telling in new and fresh ways.
