Discovery Community Care
Discovery Community Care has some exciting plans for a drop-in space that fosters healthy interdependent connections for people we are walking alongside through our ministry. We are currently looking to form a team of ‘Community Connectors’ that will join the DCC team and help facilitate this drop-in space.
In preparation for this, we will be hosting a training event on Monday 15th August. This is for all of our current DCC volunteers and anyone looking to get more involved, especially those interested in becoming a Community Connector.
This practical training will cover how to start conversations that help find common ground with people doing life tough, how to look out for and mine the strengths in people, and the cycles of change people go through.
